The William James Studies journal is looking for a Managing Editor
Manage all aspects of the production schedule and editorial process: submissions, peer-review process, revisions, formatting, and layout. Work with our copy editor and finalize proofs. Additional tasks include: monitoring the WJS email account and responding to all author inquiries, as well as creating annual reports for the Executive Committee meetings. Respond promptly with any concerns to the General Editor.
As the journal is bi-annual (spring and fall), workloads increase leading up to the final publication of an issue, with extended downtime between as articles are received and prepared for publication.
Information about the journal, its interests, its archive, and recent publications can be found here: https://williamjamesstudies.org/about-wjs/s
Contact General Editor Shawn Welch at shawn.welch101@gmail.com if you or someone you know might be interested in this position. Please note that this position is unpaid.
